In her article entitled 'Superannuation: 1 in 3 women retire with nothing. Senate report finds', Laura Hartnell, asks the questions: "How do you picture yourself in retirement? Carefree and fabulous, kicking up your heels? Maybe travelling the world and looking forward to a long and blissful old age?" If you're a woman, you can think again.

More women are becoming homeless, especially older women following marriage and relationship breakdowns or lack of retirement planning.

On average women will enter retirement with about half the superannuation a man does.

Raising families, working part-time in unpaid roles or caring for elderly parents means women retire with less savings and assets than men.

The average man can live for 22 years on superannuation, while a woman can live for just 12. That’s a frightening statistic.

The Senate report Laura Hartnell refers to in her article, resulted from a parliamentary inquiry into Women's Economic Security in Retirement by the Senate Economics References Committee. The report  'A husband is not a retirement plan' Achieving economic security for women in retirement covers in great detail, that 'many Australian women face an insecure retirement'.

Chair of the Senate Inquiry into Women's Economic Security in Retirement, Senator Jenny McAllister said "This is not only an issue for women who are retiring now. "It is a structural problem that will persist for the next generation if we do not take action to prevent it."

I personally believe women need to take matters into their own hands and create a plan of action. The cat’s out the bag about how lucrative purchasing property can be…I’m not here to tell you about that...

I EMPOWER women with the knowledge and expertise they need to be the best version of themselves in their quest to successfully purchase property.

I use my property know-how to empower women, just like you, to SET THE RULES and DETERMINE YOUR OWN DESTINY.

Sounds like a plan, right?! For a limited time, I am waiving my success fee for women who, because of divorce or other reasons, have less finances than is favourable.  Book your confidential, obligation free, consultation to discover more.
